There is no export-then-import step in the middle, because the editor is already open on the take you just finished.

Screen recordings are the most sensitive video you make: customer data, internal dashboards, an inbox you forgot was open. So none of it is uploaded — not to be rendered, not to be stored, not to be analysed.
There is no processing queue and no bucket. The app has nowhere to send a recording, which is a stronger guarantee than a policy that says it will not.
Every take is a folder in your Movies folder holding ordinary media files, its metadata and a thumbnail. Move it, back it up, open it in Finder.
Once you have signed in, the app keeps recording without a connection. A flight or a bad hotel network never locks you out mid-take.
